• Chevy Monte Carlo comes in LS trim with a 3.4-liter V6 and as the sporty SS with a 3.8 V6 and firmer suspension.
• Chevy Monte Carlo shares its basic design with the Buick Century and Regal, Pontiac Grand Prix, and Chevy Impala coupe.
• Chevy Monte Carlo is a 5-passenger model with front bucket seats, automatic transmission, and 4-wheel disc brakes.
• ABS is standard on both Chevy Monte Carlo models.
• A side airbag for the driver and GM's OnStar assistance system are now optional for both Chevy Monte Carlo models.
• Additions for '03 Chevy Monte Carlo includes standard remote keyless entry for the LS, and a newly optional XM satellite radio with 100-channel digital receiver.
• A supercharged version of the Chevy Monte Carlo is due next fall as an '04 model, and will include stiffer suspension, 17-inch wheels (vs. 16s), and special trim.

• Hold Back: This is a non-published pricing promotion (discount) that is given back to the dealer at the conclusion of a sale of a vehicle.
• Final Cost: This is derived by adding shipping to the invoice amount and subtracting any rebates and hold back.
